Map Guides
The Earth.Works Project is in its early stages and before we develop the APP we have produced a "Proof of Concept" that you are more than welcome to load up and see what it contains.
Its worth saying that the software used to build the "POC" was Prezi. This is a presentation app that arranges the graphics in a sequence and hence you can move through the whole POC by clicking on the space bar. However the intention is that you interact with the map by clicking on areas of interest.
Introduction to the Map
The main interface of the map, or HOME, is explained using the analogy of an architects plans. What would the masterplan of the whole of the creation of the universe have looked like and how does Earth fits into this.
How far?
Two features that are worth more attention are the benefit of a scalable canvas and the interdisciplinary range offered by thei Knowledge Organiser.
As the concepts of time and space can be intangible, the journey you can take around the map allows you to become a space traveller moving amongst the stars and galaxies.
